Well I survived! LOL

A 2 hour nap this morning after the munchkins left, I'm feeling a bit better but like I have a hangover. I don't mind the hangover feeling if I had at least gotten to earn it!

The house is still in fairly decent shape, a little straightening up is all it needs, I'm kinda suprised!

This is pretty mucha do nothhing kinda weekend for us, they are nice once in awhile except that doing nothing really seems to suck the energy right out of you!

I was sitting here reading blogs about people who have been exercising or dieting as I stuffed my face with a piece of B-day cake and feeling like a total slug!

A little side remark about the b-day party. While Sarah was opening the presents from us, one of the girls ( the first tattoo girl pictured ) asked why we got her the leopard print stuff and the make-up (we got her "real" make-up), I answered simply, "That's what she said she wanted", the girl again questioned me, "you got her that just because she wanted it?", "yeah" was my reply, she answered back with "You're so cool!" ROFL I was cracking up! Somehow I never really thought of myself as a "cool parent" but hey, it works for me! = 0 )
More pics

Here are the tattoo'd girls! LOL

And the birthday girl with her cake Notice it's NOT a zebra striped cake??? My cake fell, it was looking REALLY bad, so we ended up buying a store cake at 7:30 ( party started at 7 LOL)

We've got 10 kids all together ( including my 3) one of which is going home at 10:30, so actually a small crowd but they seem to be having a good time!

We started out playing games like Freeze dance, animal charades, hot potato, and "what are you doing".

Then it was present time

"Look mom I got 'Shoozies'!!"

It's 10:30, and we just finished with cake and fingernails, tattoos and stickers ( dontcha jsut love presents like that?? LOL) pictures coming soon!

Aaron and one of the girls are already asleep, everyone's really calm which is almost scary!
Got this in email today, thought it was funny,

It's birthday party day, the house is a mess, and I have no party stuff planned! EEEEK

Ok I do have the basics covered, a cake, some snacks, play makeup and nail polish, and the CD player fro freeze dance, and some movies. Those are standard but BORING! I hate doing boring parties, I want to come up with something original and fun, something the kids will say "We did this really cool thing at Sarah's party and it was lots of fun!". When you come up with the perfect idea for Sarah's party email me

Life has suddenly overwhelmed me it seems, I'm not working and not getting much accomplished, so why do I feel so overwhelmed??? I hate this feeling!

Oh well back to cleaning, I'll let you know what I come up with, and hopefully some of my internet buds will be online tonight to keep my sane! It's probably not a good idea to drink while I have 10 7-10 yr old kids here huh??? ROFL

Haven't blogged for awhile sorry about that. Somewhere between Easter weekend, having more problems with my knee and life in general my baby turned 9 years old.
She went from this to this in the blink of an eye! I can't wait to see the young lady she grows up to be! = )

I also have lots of thank-yous to give for those that took Flat Stanley into thier homes and showed him thier hometown. Let me tell you a little about all of Stanley's adventures.

Stanley went to Austin with Donna, played with the kids and checked out the bats.

Next it was off to Belleville, Ontario, Canada with Nora and her family, they visted a choclate facotry, cheese factory and some beautiful historic sites.

While in Canada, Stanley went to visit Sandy and the home of Alexander Graham Bell, as well as tehe Sports Hall of Fame.

Stanley then went to Donna's farm, Stanely had a blast playing in the fields and on the farm equipment. He even went on a field trip with Ross's preschool to a dairy!

He was off again, this time to Montesano Washington to hang out with Chris, Mike and Brady

Stanley then took off for Missoula Montana to visit Heidi, Rob and Sienna, Stanmely was very busy, in Missoula! From the carousel to a historic Fort, even pizza and a trip to the local park.

Next stop for Stanley was Roxboro NC Lynn took him to see some gorgeous gardens and zoos, Chapell Hill and Duke universities, Natural Science Museum, even to the planetarium for a solar system show.

Up the coast to Cape May New Jersey to see Darla, Mike, Brody and Marna. They spent the day visiting the ocean and the Bay. After some great NJ food Stanley came home with his pockets full of beach treasures from shells to "Cape Nay Diamonds", to sea glass, he even got to watch te ferries go by!

Next on Stanley's adventures was going to Juneau to visit withRachel and her family. He got to see eagles and bears and even got to go up on a glacier.

Stanley is now back home recouperating from all his adventures!

If I forgot anyone I apologize, please let me know and I'll include more.

Again thanks to so many people who responded and saved Stanley ( and Sarah).
